I had been hearing great things about this restaurant from my friend, so I finally decided to give it a try. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday night, expecting a long wait but we were seated right away. We ordered the Jahunger noodles with chicken, scallion pancakes (not pictured) and the honey cake for dessert. The noodles had a unique soft but chewy texture similar to the udon noodles, but with its own distinct flavor. The scallion pancakes unfortunately didn't quite live up to our expectations and I wouldn't get it again. Now oh my goodness, the honey cake was DELICIOUS!!!!! It really completed the meal for us.
Had a dinner Saturday night, it was very busy. The attentive and helpful staff, particularly the lovely person who assisted me with my meal.

Terrible reception. We came in with some ice cream and we were told no outside food. Totally understood. When ask can I have a seat first with our 4-month-old baby while my wife and mom finish their ice cream outside, answer was no, there is no way you can sit until full party is here. We have to take our sleeping baby outside in the windy weather which is absurd. Very rude attitude. No service at all, no checking whether everything is good even once. First time no tip.
For food, lamb skewer was great, chicken stew was definitely over rating if you ever tried what is a great chicken stew. 100% below average.
Good Chinese food. They offer Xinjiang / northern Chinese foods, that many are spicy foods. But you can order no spicy on some of the menus. The place is really small and you feel cramped, and get quite busy. The dessert honey cake is really good.
Service is good, but three peppers chicken is extremely spicy, should have let us know before we order it. The noodles are hand made, delicious!
I love the handmade lamb dumplings! We tried a couple of the handmade noodles and they were all delicious. Not a fan of the scallion package though. It was a bummer that a lot of food were sold out when we got there, including chicken stew.
I really loved it here. Definitely would come back. Don’t recommend it here for anyone who doesn’t like spicy.
We ordered the Kavap 羊肉串 (lamb skewers) as a starter and had Three Peppers 三椒干煸鸡 and then Jahunger Noodles 嘉罕戈炒面. All of them were a bit spicy but the Three Peppers one they warned us that it would be really spicy. Definitely right but it’s SO good with a great flavor but definitely has a 🔥 kick to it.
We saw another table order the Chicken Stew which looked excellent. Would probably come back for that. It’s a large shareable pot.
The entryway is a little odd and there seems to be an upstairs area for seating as well. Cute plants and stuff downstairs. Adorable tea cups. The waitstaff was nice and they have a small wine list. Menu is online which I don’t usually love but it was fine.
My favorite Uyghur restaurant around the Greater Boston area. Came here twice and the Chicken Stew大盘鸡 never let me down. The Original Meefen 鸡肉拌米粉 is also good. Not a big fan for Meefen 新疆米粉 since it has a bitter taste because of the spices. Home Made Yogurt 手工酸奶 is really sour but honey made it taste better. Will come here again and again!
